How to request third party equipment to be added to Local Edge Configurator


(Note: This process has changed since our last update in January).

If you are unable to find a third party device in Local Edge Configurator, you should carry out the following steps to have it added:

1. Visit https://helpcenter.ecostruxureit.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000334353
2. Choose 'General Support Requests' for your ticket.
3. If you don't have an account on this system, enter your e-mail address in the field.
4. Choose 'Data Center Operation(DCO)' as Product type.
5. Pick whether you are a Customer or a partner.
6. Enter that you require the addition of a third party equipment as your subject line.
7. Enter the part number and any other details including links to the products.
8. If you have any attachments that would help, drop them into the attachments area.
9. Press Submit and you are shown a screen with your request. Take note of the ID for future reference.
You should receive an e-mail with your request. You can follow up with your request by replying to this e-mail.
