We are happy to inform everyone about our production release done today for Local Edge Configurator.

 

Below is the list of key features made available in this release.

 

 

• Frequently Bought Together – Extended this feature to more UPS families: This feature intelligently suggests the other APC products based on all the users ‘Purchase history’.

  

• PDF reports download issue fix: An issue preventing the download of PDF reports when Japanese, Korean, or Chinese (Mandarin) was selected as the language in LEC has been resolved.

 

• MDC43U custom link update: When a user enters text or customization details, titled 'Custom MDC 43U', an email notification is automatically sent to the designated recipients. This link has been updated.

• Sales force to OKTA Migration!

 

The IT Professional Edge configurator login has now migrated to OKTA environment from the Salesforce. This integration helps organizations manage user access more efficiently and securely.

 

• Implementation SX Gen 1 Racks Discontinuation banner for USA and EU users.
• Proposal documents package size is reduced from 24 MB to 12 MB.

 Hi All,

 We are happy to inform everyone about our production release done today for Local Edge Configurator.

 Below is the list of key features made available in this release.

•  Sustainability Environmental Data, including the carbon footprint (kg.eq. CO2 per CR, Total Life Cycle), will be shown for the compatible** CRs in LEC.

 The carbon footprint, expressed in kilograms equivalent of CO2 per product unit (kg.eq. CO2 per CR, Total Life Cycle), represents the total CO2 gas emissions associated with a product throughout its entire life cycle. This includes raw material extraction, manufacturing, transportation, use, and disposal emissions.

• Lead with Connectivity (LWC) disabled

As the Services and Software recommendation is implemented globally for LEC users, the LWC option which was previously available only in the USA) has been disabled.
